Our Story
Founded in 2018 in Shanghai, China, The Green Kitchen is your go to for delicious, innovative vegan catering. We started out small, selling meal plans from our apartment kitchen, and slowly grew to become one of the city’s most popular Western vegan brands. And now we’re super excited to be bringing our amazing vegan dishes to the adventurous vegans (and non-vegans!) of London. We’re here for all of your plant-based catering needs - be it office parties, events, private dining experiences, we can provide incredible dishes that your guests would never know are vegan.
About Chef Abi Franklin
Chef Abi Franklin likes to describe our food as a fusion of East meets West. Having spent 7 years in China working in some of Shanghai’s top kitchens, and alongside China’s leading Plant-based meat brands, Abi was able to gain a deep understanding of the diverse flavours found across the country. We combine these amazing flavours with nutritious ingredients to bring innovative dishes that will wow your guests, and provide plant-based nourishment. The Green Kitchen brings all your favourite classics, enhanced with the exciting flavours of China and beyond, to create bold dishes that you would never know are plant-based.
